Another unique Timber Frame Barn kit - restoration project!  It started as the owner purchased a disassembled timber framed barn to be re-purposed as a home but there were complications. There were rotten pieces and the height of the first floor ceiling was less than 6'!!  We were called on to replace rotten pieces and to figure out how to make the main posts longer so the ceiling would be as 'normal' for a dwelling.  Our work is the scarf joints and 15 main posts, 1 re-make of a main post, various timber replacements and sawing the customer supplied logs for roof and side sheathing.
